Lauren D. Pharr
Lauren D. Pharr is a current master’s student pursuing her degree in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology at North Carolina State University. Her current research involves analyzing the effects of urbanization on avian survival. Lauren is also a science communicator, having written and contributed to pieces for The Cincinnati Zoo, BBC Wildlife, Wired Magazine, and eBird. She is currently an intern with the North Carolina Sea Grant serving as an assistant editor for their award-winning magazine Coastwatch. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys reading, nature adventures, and listening to music. She currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina.
