Evy Mansat Gros is currently an undergraduate at Bangor University pursuing a degree in Marine Vertebrate Zoology and Oceanography. Alongside her NGS + TNC project regarding the effects of water quality on marine mussels, Evy is currently working on a governmental research project as an intern regarding climate change effects on the common whelks of the UK waters. At university Evy is a science experimental demonstrator, communicating and leading large audiences through multiple experiments. In her free time Evy enjoys peaceful afternoons at the beach, hiking up mountains, playing the violin in the symphony orchestra and watercolor painting.

Recently returning from Costa Rica, where she worked as a summer intern on a sea turtle nesting site, she has developed an interest in sea turtle pathology. Evy will therefore begin her final year dissertation researching fibropapillomatosis in sea turtles located in US waters through the analysis of DNA metagenetic databases. With a keen interest in marine veterinary health, she aspires to bridge marine biology and veterinary medicine in a future career as a DVM.
