  1. The U.S. Department of Justice accuses BP of ‘gross negligence and willful misconduct.’ (Huffington Post)
  2. Cathay Pacific (based in Hong Kong) just sent a loud and clear message regarding the shark fin trade: ‘No more fins on our planes.’ (Treehugger)
  3. Wildlife conservationists are saving dogs from the pound and saving nature at the same time — by training the dogs to find threatened species! (Green)
  4. Thousands of dead rats — invasive species, no less — have piled up on Mississippi beaches after Isaac. Gross. (NBC News)
