Erin Myers Madeira
Erin Myers Madeira is a Senior Advisor for The Nature Conservancy's Global Lands team. Based in Monterey, California, she works across the Global Lands priority geographies to strengthen how this work can deliver measurable improvements to the wellbeing of communities and indigenous people. Previously, Erin was a Fulbright Fellow in Indonesia, Visiting Scientist at the Center for International Forestry Research, and Program Fellow at Resources for the Future where her work focused on climate change policy and programs to reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD+). She has conducted research and published on community-level natural resource use and pathways to sustainable development in places ranging from the forest or Borneo to football field-sized atolls in the Pacific to California's recreational fisheries.
