Cool Green Morning: Monday, April 6

We’re big on waste this morning — menswear that was once a Diet Coke bottle, how Omega 3s reduce methane from cows, and how the absolutely greenest way to scoop Rover’s poop could save the newspaper business. (Weave all those into a family-appropriate limerick and post it as a comment — we’ll feature it tomorrow morning.)

  • Green vs. Green: The new split among environmental groups is over whether to be global and industrial (e.g., addressing climate change with huge wind- or solar-power installations) or local (prioritizing local ecologies over those installations), says The Wall Street Journal.

If fish oil reduces cow’s toots,
and bottles get turned into suits
    And newspaper bags
    Pick up all fido’s “tags”
Will this make the world greener to boot?

Hope you guys like it… its the best I could come up with.

    I’m weeping right now. Amazing!
