- Did you see wolverine? No, not the X-Men movie. We’re talking about the first wolverine seen in Colorado in 90 years. Scientists radio-collared the animal in Wyoming and have been following his movements as part of a reintroduction program.
- Overfishing is a huge problem, but the Obama administration is trying to tackle it. A New York Times editorial supports the administration’s efforts, including a new market-based approach sponsored by NOAA’s Jane Lubchenco called “catch shares.” (Hat-tip: Environmental Economics.)
