  1. How much will the Waxman-Markey bill cost you? A new assessment from the Congressional Budget Office says $175 per household (not the $3,000 that Repbulican opponents have asserted).
  2. According to MIT, a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions can only be achieved if the United States and China clean up emissions from coal plants as part of the solution.
  3. Did you see wolverine? No, not the X-Men movie. We’re talking about the first wolverine seen in Colorado in 90 years. Scientists radio-collared the animal in Wyoming and have been following his movements as part of a reintroduction program.
  4. Overfishing is a huge problem, but the Obama administration is trying to tackle it. A New York Times editorial supports the administration’s efforts, including a new market-based approach sponsored by NOAA’s Jane Lubchenco called “catch shares.” (Hat-tip: Environmental Economics.)
