- Bentley’s new luxury car, the Continental, is 85 percent recyclable, reports Environmental Leader. But since 70 percent of all Bentleys ever made are still on the road or garaged, who cares?
- How to reduce bat kill by wind turbines? Turn them off at night, says a new study reported by Green Inc. (The turbines, that is — not the bats.)
- Are overweight people contributing disproportionately to greenhouse gas emissions? A new study in the International Journal of Epidemiology says yes…but Red Green and Blue summarizes the study’s flaws.
- Can a song make aquatic invasive species go away? Bret Shaw, a University of Wisconsin-Madison, sure hopes so. (My favorite song: “One Bait, One Lake.” Hat tip: WaterWired.)
